The valley offers riverside walks as well as higher-level hikes to Whernside or adjacent dales. The picturesque village of Dent with its cobbled streets and old world atmosphere is just five miles away. And don’t worry if it rains - White Scar Cave, the Dales Countryside Museum and Wensleydale Creamery are all within 10 miles of this former shooting lodge.
